Raleigh-Durham is smack dab in the middle of North Carolina’s famed “Research Triangle”, but rest assured, you don’t have to be a visiting professor to fly in there. The airport was opened in 1943 after the area outgrew its original airport. Who would have guessed that the state where man first flew would have a great need for air travel?

One Google reviewer had this to say about a recent trip to Raleigh-Durham, “Staff unfriendly. Bad experience. I will be paying extra from now to avoid this joke, I mean airport.” Ouch, people are willing to spend extra money just to avoid this place. That’s bad.
