Taken with the 60th and final pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, selected behind six guys who never played a minute in the NBA, Isaiah Thomas would go on to not only become an NBA All-Star, but even challenge for the league’s Most Valuable Player award after a 2016-2017 season in which he averaged 28.9 points per game. But Thomas suffered a major hip injury in the 2017 postseason, which greatly derailed his career. Following brief stops in Cleveland, Los Angeles, and Denver, Thomas signed with the Washington Wizards in the summer of 2019.
