After selecting Johnson with the 10th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, the Celtics decided they wanted to make a push for the playoffs, so they traded Johnson, Randy Brown, Milt Palacio and a first-round pick in exchange for Rodney Rogers and Tony Delk.
The latter two only played 116 combine games for the Celtics, while Johnson became a seven-time All_Star and All-NBA third-tea selection over the course of his career.
