Whether he receives enough credit for it or not, Chuck Berry is one of the most influential rock and roll musicians of all-time. He is credited for molding rhythm and blues into classic rock and giving us modern rock and roll. Berry was a huge influence on The Beatles.
Berry died in 2017, at the age of 90, but his energy was endless until the end. Berry still performed well into his late 80s. He was given a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1984 and two years later was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
