Debbie Harry co-founded the seminal punk band Blondie in New York City in 1974. Her success with Blondie made her an icon of sorts and captured the attention of artist Andy Warhol. In the early 80s, Harry and Warhol collaborated on a few projects in different mediums, including print and film.
Despite the band releasing their first album over 40 years ago, Blondie is still making music. The band released their eleventh studio album in 2017 and reached as high as number four on the UK charts. Now 75, Harry is still one of the undisputed queens of punk.
