BUST: Daniel Jones

With Jones, it’s almost surprising that he’s only been with the Giants for three seasons. He’s been so bad that it seems like it’s been much longer, especially for Giants fans. To his credit, Jones has helped to curb his propensity for fumbling the ball, which is something. He can also make plays with his legs on occasion.

But he’s also forced to run because he’s just not a competent passer. While injuries have hurt his supporting cast, an average quarterback would be just fine and have no trouble outperforming Jones with the skill players the Giants have. As a result, the Giants declined his fifth-year option and will start looking elsewhere for a franchise quarterback, making Jones an utter bust.
