BUST: Jerry Tillery

The Chargers had high hopes for Tillery when they drafted him out of Notre Dame in 2019. But he’s performed more like a mid-round selection rather than someone who was selected in the first round. In fairness, Tillery has managed to earn and maintain a starting job on the Los Angeles defense.

However, it’d be a stretch to call him an impact player. By first-round standards, he’s been a disappointment. The Chargers didn’t even pick up his fight-year option, so it’s clear that they have no faith in Tillery developing into a productive NFL player.
