Michael Porter Jr.
Riddle us this: how many NBA players can you think of that came back from a concerning back injury, and made a full recovery? Can you think of anyone? That’s the biggest issue with Michael Porter Jr.. He’s entering the NBA as broken goods, and while Denver did get tremendous value by taking him with the 14th overall selection, there might be a greater chance that he never realizes his immense level of talent as there is of him becoming an All-Star caliber player.
Add in the fact that there are questions about his personality and work ethic, and that doesn’t bode well from someone who’s going to need a near miraculous recovery to make it as a pro.
