There are no two positions in sports more dependent on each other than quarterback and wide receiver. One simply cannot succeed without the success of the other. Talent only gets you so far without chemistry, and the pairs at the top (and bottom) of this list certainly show that to be true.
In this list we examine and rank each of the NFL’s best passing combinations. For the purposes of this list, we include tight ends, if they have earned it. Check it out and see where your team ranks.
32. Josh Allen – John Brown
Josh Allen had an up and down rookie season, at times making some observers question the sanity of the Bills front office, and other times looking like the perfect fit for a challenging playing environment in Buffalo.
Allen will be relying on new signing John Brown who joins from Baltimore after catching 42 catches passes for 715 yards. The Bills are going to need more production that that if they hope to have Allen take the next step.
31. Marcus Mariota – Corey Davis
This is a make or break year for Mariota, as he enters the final year of his contract. The Titans look to have a solid defense, and an offense built to bruise and batter you. Can he prove to the Tennessee front office that he is worth keeping around long term?
Corey Davis could be a big factor in answering those questions. After a career high in all receiver data points, the pressure will be on Davis to take the next step in his development.
