12. Ben Roethlisberger – Juju Smith-Schuster
With the departure of want-away sideshow Antonio Brown, it’s time to see if Juju’s got the goods. No longer does he have one of the most productive receivers in the league taking the brunt of opposing defenses attention.
Roethlisberger will be hoping Juju can extend his career a few more years and keep the Steelers competitive in the AFC North. Big Ben has publicly wondered if he should hang it up. If Smith-Schuster can prove he’s a worthy number 1 receiver that could be enough to keep Ben energized for another Super Bowl run.
11. Dak Prescott – Amari Cooper
Some wondered whether the Cowboys gave up too much when they acquired Cooper from the Raiders, but their partnership proved to be a fruitful one right from the start. Together they changed the offense from relying on carries from Ezekiel Elliott, to having a legitimate passing attack with Cooper stretching defenses.
It was good enough for Cooper to pick up 725 yards and 6 TD’s in just 9 games with “America’s Team”. Prescott’s production picked up considerably too, after the addition of Cooper.
