Yes, it is a plain and simple 1.5-mile tri-oval track, but it when it was built, Kansas Speedway filled a much-needed hole in the Midwest NASCAR fan’s heart. The residents of the Great Plains flock to this great Tornado Alley fixture and really go big when a race is in town.
While there are just under one million of this style of track in NASCAR, this track is set apart because it has a casino just outside the track. So, if the race is uneventful, you can create some excitement of your own at the roulette wheel.
