Bristol is the Roman Coliseum of racetracks. The grandstands are 10 stories high, looking down onto a .533-mile oval. It’s harder to imagine a more intimidating atmosphere to drive big cars really fast.

Almost as important as the building itself is the culture around Bristol. Legendary for it’s race day festivities, Bristol is “Racin’ The Way It Oughtta Be” both inside and outside the building. College football fans will remember that in recent years it played host to Virginia Tech and Tennessee as they turned the track into the largest football venue in history.
