Michigan International Speedway is a big, two-mile D-shaped oval. This is a track where the teams can really let loose and drive. That seems fitting, given that the track is just an hour outside the home of American automotive manufacturing in Detroit.

Formerly the home of uncomfortable seating and traffic flow issues, the stadium is now much more visitor-friendly. They’ve removed some seats so fans aren’t sitting on top of each other. That’s good because fans will be on the edge of their seats watching, as speeds have been known to climb up to 215 MPH at Michigan International.
