After the Los Angeles Chargers started out the season with an 0-4 record, we all began wondering if the sun was setting on the career of quarterback Philip Rivers. But since that losing streak, the Chargers have gone 5-2, and Rivers has thrown 14 touchdown passes and only three interceptions over those seven games. During their Thanksgiving Day beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys, Rivers threw for 434 yards and three touchdowns, completing a ridiculous 81.8% of his passes. He’s currently seventh in the NFL at 268 yards passing per game, and should be one of the three quarterbacks to represent the AFC in the Pro Bowl after the season is over.
