Joe Wolf

It would seem crazy to mention Joe Wolf in the same sentence as Scottie Pippen, David Robinson, and Reggie Miller, but all four of those guys were selected among the top 13 picks of the 1987 NBA Draft. After being named Wisconsin’s all-time greatest high school basketball player, Wolf played for four years in Chapel Hill under famed head coach Dean Smith.

Wolf would go on to play 11 years in the NBA (and another season overseas in Spain in the middle), but in 9 of those 11 seasons in the league, Wolf averaged less than six points per game scoring, and averaged less than 5.4 rebounds per game in 10 of those 11 seasons, despite being a 6’11 big man.
