Tyler Zeller
The “middle child” of the three Zeller brothers, Tyler Zeller was named “Mr. Basketball” in the state of Indiana, and described by future head coach Roy Williams as “the finest running big man in the country,” Zeller had a successful four-year career with the Tar Heels, culminating in him being named a consensus All-American in 2012.
He was selected with the 17th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft (and was one of the guys NBA teams passed on Draymond Green for), and “rewarded” the Cleveland Cavaliers (who acquired him on draft night from the Dallas Mavericks) with 6.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game over his first two seasons. Over the next four years, Zeller spent time with three different NBA teams, and was out of the NBA after the 2017-2018 season.
