Chad Johnson
If you ever want to see what Chad Johnson is up to these days, all you have to do is search for him on Twitter, because he’s not shy about posting frequently and telling you exactly what he’s doing. The former All-Pro wide receiver, who led the NFL in receiving yards in 2006 (he had 1,369 yards that year), Johnson was always known during his NFL career as someone who wasn’t shy about dabbling in various internet platforms, before social media was officially a “thing.”
After his time was up in the NFL prior to the start of the 2012 season, Johnson dabbled in both the Canadian Football League and even Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional de México (the Mexican pro football league). In 2016, Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson invited Johnson to the Browns’ training camp as a “guest instructor,” which was effectively Johnson sticking his proverbial toe in the coaching job waters.
