Jason Taylor
When Jimmy Johnson took over the Miami Dolphins as head coach, he tried to recreate his magic through the draft that he enjoyed with Dallas. While he missed more often than he hit, Jason Taylor — a third round pick in the 1997 NFL Draft — was a bona fide home run. When Taylor retired from the NFL in 2011, he was seventh on the all-time career sack list with 139.5 sacks. Over the course of his career, he was a six-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time All-Pro, and the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2006.
Like many other players, Taylor has been heavily involved in philanthropic work in his retirement, headlined by his namesake Jason Taylor foundation which is focused on increasing literacy among inner city children. Notably, he even partnered with the Invicta Watch company on several charitable ventures.
