Interestingly enough, wide receiver Plaxico Burress is one of those players who nearly everyone acknowledged as being a really good player, yet he never made the Pro Bowl at any point in his career. Burress had 988 or more receiving yards in five of his first eight seasons in the NFL, with back-to-back years of 10 or more receiving touchdowns in 2006 and 2007 with the New York Giants.

After retiring in 2013, Burress ran into issues with unpaid taxes, which put him in serious trouble. To help pay off his debts, he did things like appearing on Celebrity Wife Swap and trying out as an NFL analyst in the New York area. Most recently, Burrress joined the staff of the Arizona Cardinals as a coaching intern in 2017.
