Robinson is a good example of a player who made modest contributions for a few years before exploding in 2011 as a member of the Cowboys. He was actually signed by Dallas, released because of an injury, only to be re-signed before the end of September. Despite only starting four games, Robinson appeared in 14 games, scoring 11 touchdowns and accumulating 858 receiving yards. That season earned him a five-year, $32.5 million deal from the Jaguars.

However, he had one disappointing season in Jacksonville in 2012, during which he suffered four concussions. He was released the following spring and never caught another pass in the NFL again.
