Majkowski was always an afterthought for the Packers, who drafted him in the 10th round of the 1987 draft. But two years later, he got his chance and ran with it. He led the league with 4,318 passing yards while also throwing 27 touchdowns. It was enough to earn him a Pro Bowl invite and a Second-team All-Pro selection.

However, he suffered a torn rotator cuff midway through the following season. He didn’t get his starting job back until 1992 when he tore an ankle ligament in September. He was replaced by a 22-year-old hotshot named Brett Favre and the rest is history, just not in a way that favors Majkowski.
