In his third pro season, Anderson started 15 games for the Browns and put together a Pro Bowl season, throwing for 3,787 yards and 29 touchdowns. The Browns missed the playoffs despite Anderson leading them to a 10-6 record. Anderson remained in Cleveland but couldn’t replicate his performance from 2007 as he was constantly in competition with Brady Quinn for the starting job. He then settled in as a career backup, spending seven seasons as Cam Newton’s backup with the Panthers.
