Clayton was a first-round pick in 2004 and proceeded to lead all rookies with 80 catches and nearly 1,200 yards. He looked like the next big thing, only to have a disappointing sophomore season. In 2006, Clayton showed flashes of recapturing the form of his rookie season, only to be struck down by injury. He would go on to make minor contributions with the Buccaneers over his six seasons in Tampa, but he never lived up to the hype he created after his rookie season, scoring seven of his 10 career touchdowns that season.
