Among fans of the Washington Redskins, there is a raging debate as to whether Kirk Cousins is really a franchise quarterback. Supporters will point to the fact that he threw for over 4,900 yards last year, and guided the Redskins to the playoffs the year before. Critics will point to the fact that he choked in their playoff appearance last year, and threw a costly interception in the Redskins Week 17 game against the New York Giants in 2016, costing the Redskins a playoff spot. Nobody is really sure whether he’s actually a good quarterback, or a product of Jay Gruden’s offense in Washington.
