26. Miami Dolphins – Original Pick: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State (By Green Bay Packers via trade)
Green Bay traded up to 26 to snag Jordan Love but after Rodgers won the MVP award, it became clear that he is nowhere close to finished. If the Packers front office knew the kind of year Rodgers had in store, they would not have passed on the chance to add a weapon on offense.
New Pick: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin
Jonathan Taylor had a stellar rookie year in Indianapolis, the Wisconsin product put up 1,468 yards from scrimmage, 5th among all running backs. Adding him to the Dolphins offense would take a lot of the pressure off of Tua.
27. Seattle Seahawks – Original Pick: Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech
Jordyn Brooks was mostly a non-factor in his rookie year with the Seahawks. I wouldn’t declare him a bust but he’d be nowhere near the 1st round in a re-draft.
New Pick: L’Jarius Sneed, CB, Louisiana Tech
Sneed was arguably the best cornerback out of all the rookies last year and the Chiefs took him in the 3rd round. The Seahawks would be salivating over the chance to grab him at 27.
