22. Minnesota Vikings – Original Pick: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
As I’ve already stated, you cant have a rookie campaign much better than Justin Jeffersons. Jefferson is absolutely dominant, it’s as simple as that. He’s only going to get better.
New Pick: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama
Ruggs struggled in his rookie year with the Raiders but his potential is too much to pass on in the mid to late 1st round. His blazing speed should be a problem in the coming years if he can stay healthy.
23. New England Patriots – Original Pick: Kenneth Murray Jr. (By LA Chargers via trade)
Kenneth Murray had a promising rookie season for the Chargers. The Oklahoma product racked up 107 tackles as a 16-game starter. He also dominated week 17 against Kansas City. He has some serious star potential at LB.
New Pick: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State
Because the Chargers no longer has this selection in a re-draft, the Patriots don’t pass on the opportunity to add a dynamic playmaker like Aiyuk in round 1. The Arizona State product is a swiss army knife and is someone the Patriots would love to add to the offense.
