Chris Douglas-Roberts played for Memphis University from 2005 to 2008, under the watch of John Calipari. Along with future NBA star Derrick Rose, he was a key member of the 2007-2008 team that lost in the National Championship game to the University of Kansas. After that season, he was named a consensus first-team All-American.

Regardless of all his college awards and accolades, Douglas-Roberts fell to the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft, where he was taken by the New Jersey Nets. Since then, he’s bounced between NBA teams and NBA Development League teams. He currently plays for the Texas Legends in the NBA Development League.
