Rasheed Wallace
While Draymond Green and Demarcus Cousins are today’s poster boys for technical fouls, Rasheed Wallace is undoubtedly the godfather. The four-time All-Star, who won an NBA championship in Detroit in 2004, remains the NBA’s all-time leader in technical fouls assessed, with 317 over the course of his 19-year NBA career; that’s basically an average of one technical foul every five games.
But in contrast to his headline-generating ways on the court, Wallace has kept a mostly low profile off the court in his post-NBA days. Outside of a minor “blip” on the radar in April of 2018, when Wallace told Complex.com that his 2004 Detroit Pistons would “crush” today’s NBA teams, the only time Wallace’s name came up in the news is when he sold his 10k+ square foot mansion in Portland, Oregon, which he bought while playing for the Portland TrailBlazers.
