At the tail end of an illustrious, if not somewhat overlooked, NBA career in which he was named to six All-Star teams and five All-NBA teams, Mitch Richmond finally won an NBA championship; albeit, he did so as a reserve on the Los Angeles Lakers in 2002. Richmond started his career as a founding member of the “Run TMC” trio on the Golden State Warriors, and played for four NBA teams over the course of his career. He was also a member of “Dream Team 2,” which won an Olympic gold medal in the 1996 summer games. In 2015, Richmond was hired as assistant coach of the St. John’s University Red Storm basketball team, where he still works today
