Back when Iman Shumpert was part of an underrated Georgia Tech team that featured future NBA players like Derrick Favors and Glen Rice, Jr., he was only sporting a couple of not-highly-visible tattoos on each arm. But during his time in the NBA, he’s also become quite the tattoo enthusiast. These days, almost all of his arms, chest, and back are covered in tattoos. While he obviously has quite a few of them, he’s stated that his favorite among all of them is the one Chicago’s Green Line system which is a tribute/reminder of the train he would ride during his childhood. Shumpert also has a tattoo of the Batman symbol, as he believes the superhero is the only one “that can be respected,” since the Dark Knight was a real person who did things for so many behind the scenes.
