Ironically enough, one of Walker’s first investments as an NBA rookie was procuring a financial advisor. Of course, whether or not he followed the advice of said advisor is a different matter. Walker spent lavishly on the usual professional athlete luxury items, like cars, designer suits, and exclusive vacations.

But what really did Walker in financially was a series of bad real estate investments in Chicago, which reportedly left him on the hook for millions of dollars for almost 140 foreclosed properties. The former University of Kentucky Wildcats star now spends time as a basketball analyst for the SEC Network.
