An electrifying dunker who almost certainly would’ve “broke the internet” if he played in the social media era, Shawn Kemp — nicknamed “Reign Man” — was a 6-time All-Star and helped lead his Seattle SuperSonics to the 1996 NBA Finals.

After earning a healthy income in Seattle, Kemp averaged as much as $3.6 million in annual salary and added on to that with a seven-year, $107 million contract in Cleveland, and a seven-year, $98 million contract in Portland. However, he didn’t see out either of those deals.
