Anderson found financial plight through a proverbial “bingo card” of troubles, including luxury automobiles and bad investments. However, he’s also clearly focused on moving past those issues. In 2014, Anderson’s family joined Dennis Rodman as part of the latter’s “basketball diplomacy” effort in North Korea.

He’s also dabbled in a combination of reality television and basketball coaching, including being the subject of a documentary titled “Mr. Chibbs” (for which he was the subject). These days he’s the head basketball coach at Fisk University in Nashville.
