Vin Baker played 13 seasons in the NBA, and at one point was considered to be one of the top offensive forwards in the entire league. In his last two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks (between 1995 and 1997), Baker averaged at least 21 points and 9 rebounds in both seasons.

But after he parlayed this success into a trade to the Seattle SuperSonics, and was the recipient of an $86 million contract to be paid over seven years, that’s when Baker’s effectiveness began to decrease dramatically, likely as a result of the vices that plagued the latter half of his career.
