You need not look further than the 2009 NBA Draft to see the damage inflicted by the reign of former General Manager David Kahn in Minnesota. Let’s put aside the fact that Kahn decided it would be a good idea to take two point guards with two selections in the top 10 of the draft: Ricky Rubio from Spain, and Johnny Flynn from Syracuse University.

The real atrocity in that decision was that he took both of them instead of Stephen Curry, the guy who’d go on to win two MVP awards and two NBA championships.
