Shane Battier joins the list of guys who played for Duke University, and whom everyone else in the country hated so much because he just kept winning. The 2001 John Wooden Award winner capped off his college basketball career as a National Champion and Final Four MVP. After originally being drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2001, Battier was named to the NBA All-Rookie first team. Over the course of his 14-year NBA career, Battier won two NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013. In his post-playing days, he has joined the Heat’s front office as the Director of Basketball Analytics and Development.
