Frank “The Tank” Kaminsky was the rare four-year college basketball player who still ended up being taken with an early lottery pick in the NBA Draft. As the unanimous men’s National College Player of the Year in 2015, Kaminsky helped his University of Wisconsin Badgers advance to their first NCAA Tournament championship game in 74 years, which they lost to Duke University. A couple of months after that, the Charlotte Hornets selected Kaminsky with the ninth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft; team owner Michael Jordan was reportedly enamored with Kaminsky’s game. He’s still in Charlotte to this day.
