Gino Torretta is one of the most forgotten legends in the history of Miami football. He was part of two national championship teams with the Hurricanes and racked up over 6,100 yards passing and 39 touchdowns during his college career. He also took home the Heisman Trophy and every other major college trophy in 1992.

However, Torretta received little attention from NFL teams during the 1993 NFL Draft. He wasn’t taken until the 7th Round, 192nd overall. He didn’t play a single snap in his first two years in the NFL and eventually bounced around five more NFL teams before finally retiring in 1997. Torretta now works as the Chairman and CEO of Touchdown Radio, which broadcasts college football games on national radio.
