Pierce is not in the Basketball Hall of Fame yet, but he obviously will be once he’s eligible. Paul Pierce is The Truth, with more big shots and NBA moments than you can recall. He was a modern day Mr. Celtic, scoring 22 points a game over 15 seasons with Boston and making 10 All Star Game appearances in an 11 year stretch.

That Hall of Fame career peaked with the additions of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen en route to a 2008 championship, the Celtics’ first since the 80s, in which Pierce was named NBA Finals MVP. Pierce went on to some mostly forgettable seasons with the Nets, Wizards, and Clippers, but he’ll always be remembered in Boston green.
