2017 — Josh Jackson

It’s normally not a good idea to declare an NBA sophomore a bust, but we’ll make an exception. Jackson was the number four pick in last year’s draft, sandwiched right in between two players that have already broken out as young stars in the making, Jayson Tatum and De’Aaron Fox. Jackson has been anything but a star, shooting 41% from the field and an awful 28% from behind the arc and losing his spot in the starting rotation this season.

Over two seasons in the NBA, Jackson has accumulated -2.3 win shares. Out of 647 human beings to play in the NBA anytime in the last two years, that ranks Josh Jackson exactly 647th. So you tell me — is it really too soon to say Josh Jackson is not a bust?
