The “Sanchize” is not as old as you might think he is. At just 33 years old he could still get out there and throw it around against an inferior quality of defenders. Think he’s worried about the reputation hit he’d suffer by playing in the XFL? Heck, this is a guy who is most famous for the “butt fumble”, what does he care about reputation?

Remember, he wasn’t always the butt of jokes. He took the Jets to the AFC Championship Game twice. Sanchez has a career completion percentage of 56.6% and threw for over 15,000 yards during his time in the NFL.

If this was the original iteration of the XFL he’d already be on a roster. Heck, he’s spent most of his NFL career doing wrestling moves on opponents. The man is just violent. He’s a villain, and every league needs a good villain just as much as it needs its heroes.

He’s still just 29 and very talented. With the Bengals, he was a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro. If the XFL has a lenient policy on fines for on-field actions he’d be just fine. Who are we kidding, he’s going to be perfect for the Raiders now that they are in Las Vegas.
