For a long time, ska music was a niche music genre, enjoyed mostly by hippies and Jamaicans. But when the band No Doubt was formed, Gwen Stefani helped bring it into the mainstream. Incredibly the band’s first studio album was released in 1992.

Since that album, No Doubt, and Stefani, blew up with songs such as, “Just a Girl”, “Spiderwebs”, and “Don’t Speak.” When the band took a hiatus she embarked on a solo career that increased her fame. These days when she’s not making music you can find her on the set of The Voice.
