1. Devin Funchess, Colts (Sleeper)
The Colts didn’t exactly turn heads with their addition of Funchess this off-season. But he’s been surprisingly solid with the Panthers the past couple of seasons, starting 28 games and catching 12 touchdowns over the past two years. He’s not the most dynamic receiver in the league, but his fantasy upside is intriguing with the move to Indianapolis.
With the Colts, he’ll be the no. 2 wide receiver as opposed to being the top receiver in Carolina. Having T.Y. Hilton get most of the attention should allow Funchess to be open a lot. Plus, at 6’4’’, he’s a great red-zone target. Jacoby Brissett is smart enough to look for the biggest receiver when he gets close to the end zone, so if those can develop some chemistry, Funchess could be poised for a career-high in touchdowns this season.
