New York Giants — Sterling Shepard
Shepard averaged 8.0 targets per game during the four games that Beckham missed last season, but you can’t overlook the fact that he’s finished 36th, 42nd and 30th in fantasy points during his three seasons.
Simply put, the 25-year-old is primarily a short-to-intermediate area target (9.3 career average depth of target) who doesn’t add much in the touchdown department (six during the past two seasons). And it’s not exactly like the New York Giants will have a high octane quarterback orchestrating this offense. Sheppard should be viewed as nothing more than a WR3.
