As a highly touted quarterback prospect, Kyle Boller wowed NFL scouts with his incredible arm strength. In pre-draft workouts Boller threw a 50 yard strike straight through the goalposts — from his knees! It’s great that Boller had that type of arm strength, but it didn’t mean anything if he couldn’t throw it with a modicum of accuracy.

Even in his 5th year in Baltimore, Boller was still terrible, throwing for nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions in eight starts, and finishing with a record of 2-6 in those games. The Ravens cut their losses with Boller that ensuing offseason, and his career was effectively over after that.
