The St. Louis Rams, until they moved to Los Angeles, wandered the quarterback-less wilderness for quite some time after Kurt Warner left the team. For a while, it looked like Marc Bulger, Warner’s backup, would be able to drive what was left of “The Greatest Show On Turf.” While he did so admirably for a couple of years, the bottom fell out in 2007, when Bulger won only two of the 15 games he started for head coach Scott Linehan.

That horrific record came a year after Bulger finished 2-10 as the starter, meaning in a two-season stretch, Bulger went 4-23 as the starting quarterback. The Rams were clearly gluttons for punishment, considering they started Bulger for yet another season, in which he went 1-7 in eight games.
