A stud quarterback at the University of Notre Dame, the Washington Redskins selected Ralph Guglielmi with the 4th overall pick way back in the 1955 NFL Draft.

Let’s just say that, from there, they didn’t get much return on their investment. After finishing his rookie year with a 3-0 record in the games he played, Guglielmi eventually went 2-12-3 as the quarterback over the next three years. After spending four years in Washington, like a bad decision made in an election, Guglielmi was gone.
