Jacksonville Jaguars: Nick Foles
Well, after saving the Eagles a time or two, Foles is going to get his chance to be the full-time unquestioned starter on an NFL team. The Jaguars are also relying on him to play like a quarterback who was once the MVP of a Super Bowl (rather recently, actually). It shouldn’t be too difficult following Blake Bortles, but it’s not like Foles has a great track record as a starter outside the last couple of years in Philadelphia.
It’s unlikely that the Jacksonville defense can reach the same level as the 2017 season. Also, the Jags can no longer rely on Leonard Fournette to stay healthy and carry the team on the ground. That means it’s up to Foles and a rather youthful set of receivers to make Jacksonville a contender in 2019. This is what Foles wanted, so he better be ready.
