After going winless in 2017, the Browns were essentially playing with house money last season, which made it a little easier to sneak up on people. However, that’s one luxury they won’t have in 2019. After a promising rookie season from Baker Mayfield and the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., there are actual expectations in Cleveland heading into the season.

Needless to say, this is uncharted territory for the Browns, who have just one playoff appearance since the franchise returned in 1999. Remember, this team still has a young quarterback and a young, first-time head coach, so they may not be equipped to handle adversity now that people are expecting them to make the playoffs.
