New York Jets: Lack of Elite Receivers

Sam Darnold should be excited to have Le’Veon Bell lining up behind him in the backfield. But the Jets haven’t done much to give him help on the perimeter. Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson did a fine job last season, but both are complementary receivers.

The Jets added Jamison Crowder, but again, he’s part of the supporting cast, not a star. If the Jets want Darnold to take that next step and become a surefire top-10 quarterback, he’s going to need better wide receivers around him, something the team doesn’t have right now.
